BeDiced, The Procedural Anti-Anxiety Puzzle !

Hi ! I am Dr. JavaSaurus. I have been around the game jam scene since **2016**. When I first started out, I was trying to create a game that would help me get through panic attacks and episodes of heavy anxiety, but I never got it right. **UNTIL GMTK 2022**.  The theme , Roll of the Dice, fits perfectly with what I was aiming for. A game where you experience that you don't need to be in full control in order to proceed and enjoy...

How To Play

The concept of BeDiced is simple and straightforward. At its core, it is a simple match-3 game where your selection options are limited to what the dice decide. Just abide to a couple of ground rules : 

You gain points by :

•  Operating the dropper (moving included)
• Matching 3 or more blocks of the same color (rainbow blocks counts as any color)
• Linking actions lead to a bonus multiplier, which gains more points !
• Use bombs to move blocks. Only the block directly beneath a bomb will be destroyed, blocks to the left and right will be pushed away, unless when they are blocked in

You lose when your stack of blocks becomes higher than the red dotted line (after combo's / bombs have played out)

BeDiced was created as part of the GMTK Game Jam. However, the music is open source (and free to use commercially) and was created by HoliznaCC0. Full Credit goes to them and their work !

GMTK 2022

The version which is playable at this webpage is the one that was submitted for the Game Jam and can not be altered. This version is also the one that should be considered for your rating and evaluation. 

However , in case you were enticed by this demo, a full (temporarily) version is available HERE . I just to pre-publish this as there are strong plans to turn this into a mobile game !
