Synopsis

Angels. Otherwordly beings, born in the aether. Their meaning  has never been fully understood throughout history, yet they have always been there, serving as messengers of the old gods and the new. Practice your wings as you soar over the Styx river, beating former guardians and angels. Mankind awaits your message in their most desperate time yet !

*Extra Dev Notes*

* There is a leaderboard implemented for a standalone build

* To increase replayability and expose the bosses more to the audience and judges of the jam, I have opted to create a dedicated "boss rush" mode. Can you beat all 5 bosses the fastest? Take a screenshot and put it in the comment section !

* There were plans to make themed levels for every boss. Currently this is only reflected in the palette swap and multiple sprites were eventually cut from the jam. This was an executive decision by the lead programmer (me) and the artist (also me).


Do note that leaderboards will NOT work in WebGL due to a SSL certificate issue with DreamLO. Standalone builds should work and will be provided at jam time !
